I'm an ambitious, solutions-oriented problem solver. I strive to be a part of projects that I can one day see be used to improve people's lives and be used by millions through UX Design and Project Management. I use design to connect with people emotionally and to inspire others. I successfully developed products and solutions in fast pace environment with a focus on user experience and design innovation.
Digital Prototype of Watershed Oven
A faced paced project with the objective of developing visuals and a story using a sustainable material and create an innovative product related to eco-friendly housing. I chose Watershed material which is made with recycled clay and aggregates, leaves a smaller carbon footprint, and serves as a sustainable alternative to cement.

Using Adobe Dimensions and Adobe Photoshop I designed a digital rendering prototype of the Watershed Oven in the home environment. Influenced by biomimicry and environmental consideration and human factors, I added a safety feature to the oven that indicates hot spots. A finishing coat on the exterior allows a color ring to form if your oven or stove is left on. Warm spots will gradually turn purple and change into a brighter orange the hotter it is.

The bowl and stove top is hot creating purple outline to appear. Hotter it is the purple turns to a bright orange. Sun light is angle to the oven to show indicated warmth detected on the body of the oven. |  Watershed Material OvenI think an innovative way to use Watershed Material within the home is by creating a Watershed Oven. Since this material has the ability of heat retention is will reduce the cost of gas needing to be used to heat up the oven. Reducing one’s heating and cooling costs is overall reducing the embodied energy of our built environment. Aesthetically, I think it would be cool to have an oven that could change into pretty colors, indicate if there are hot spots, or as a warning indicator that the oven is turned on. |
Soul Cycle PopUp Shop
Partnered with Cycle Lab, a soul cycling fitness center, to encourage physical activity, mental health, and student life in the Corvallis community. Developed project proposal of event with an estimated cost of $19,680. Goal objective was to promote brand awareness for the new active wear and increase membership sign up.  Established a social interactive experience through incentives including goody bags, discount coupons, and free Jamba Juice smoothies for those who stop at the popup.
Developed skills in Adobe Dimensions by designing a rendered Pop Up to visually communicate our project plan. Cycle lab and Jamba Juice logo created in Adobe Illustrator then uploaded to Adobe Dimensions. Achieved final rendering by placing background with the image of the actual location and edited lighting and focus on Adobe Photoshop.

InnovationX Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition
Repel Pods
I designed the product blueprint and our digital logo for the team. For this project, I took part in conducting analytical research, marketing, and demographic surveying. I gained experience in pitching ideas, process brainstorming, design thinking, and research on people's struggles and needs.
The Repel Pod is an organic scent diffuser that can be installed in any room of your house to repel any bugs/ pest using the scent of peppermint. Team won 2nd place with a $500 prize.

Kitchen Pro
Created and presented a concept and prototype through images and blueprints. I gained experience analyzing a demographic and using creativity and design to problem solve. I looked at the needs and wants of student living to develop the concept of the Kood Mini, a mini kitchen hood fan that is portable and designed to detect smoke before the fire detector.
Created patterns for textiles using Adobe Illustrator
Patterns from Adobe Illustrator are transferred to Adobe Photoshop and placed on objects using the selection tool. The final product image is finalized after rendering the texture and color.

My Work as a Media Designer
Designed media posts and banners for the Asian & Pacific Cultural Center at Oregon State University for social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice using tools Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva.

Executed time management when overseeing multiple projects and meetings, displayed team communication, empathy, & flexibility towards other workers to increase morale in the workplace.
